Design that plays to win and delivers a 139% sales boost for Player’s Choice
Player’s Choice is an e-commerce platform that buys, sells, and trades rare, classic, and new video games. The goal of this project was to create a mobile-friendly, easy-to-navigate website that made shopping fast and intuitive while showcasing their excellent Trustpilot reviews. The redesign also needed to enhance functionality without drastically changing the look and feel, ensuring a smooth transition for existing users.
To achieve this, I restructured the navigation for better usability on smaller screens and enlarged the search bar for greater prominence. Common actions like “Trade In” and “Add to Cart” were repositioned to the top-right corner for quick access, while key buttons were redesigned for clarity and visibility. Product listings were moved higher up on the page, with in-stock items prioritized, and a Trustpilot review column was added to every page to highlight customer satisfaction. These improvements led to a smoother shopping experience and a 139.98% increase in total sales within the first three months after launch.
